Today was a good day, Ghostbusters game was Released, oh and I found a Xbox 360.. Sweet!
Posted on Tuesday 16 June 2009 - 23:46:01 by ghozt

So Ghostbusters the Game was Released today on PC, PS3, Xbox 360..
I Decided to head off to Gamestop to get GhostBusters and on my way to the door I noticed a Xbox 360 box sitting ontop the garbage can right outside their front door.. (no it wasnt that easy!)
So I figured to atleast flip open the lid and have a looksy, lol empty just as I figured but I need a 360 box because I have one for sale.. So I go in the store to get my game and when I come out the Box is gone? WTH!.. So I look in the Garbage can (Luckily the trash musta been emptied yesterday) and I see a shiny white Xbox 360.. So I grab it on out, it's missing the faceplate, so I open the lid and see a Xbox360 HDD.. So I Grab that too.. too bad i didnt see the faceplate anywhere..

So I get home and just as I thought, 3 ring error.. Tested the HDD on my other Xbox, works perfectly!
Now heading to the Hardware store Wednesday and gonna get me 4 bolts and some washers to fix this thing.!

Oh and Btw I've Had an Xbo x 360 for sale for about a week now too.. It's got HDMI unlike the one I found today so check out my thread and buy the damn thing!

David Carradine Dies at 72
Posted on Thursday 04 June 2009 - 13:47:36 by xyster

David Carradine, the star of the 1970s television series “Kung Fu” and the title villain of the “Kill Bill” movies, has died in Thailand, The Associated Press reported. The United States Embassy in Bangkok told The A.P. that Mr. Carradine had been found dead in his hotel suite in Bangkok, where he was working on a movie. He was 72.

Mr. Carradine was part of an acting family that included his father, John; his brother, Bruce, and half-brothers Keith and Robert; and his nieces Ever Carradine and Martha Plimpton.

After a short run as the title character in the 1966 television adaptation of the Western “Shane,” he found fame in the 1972 series “Kung Fu” as Kwai Chang Caine, a wanderer raised by Shaolin monks to be a martial arts master. He enjoyed a career resurgence in recent years when he was cast by Quentin Tarantino in the action movies “Kill Bill: Vol. 1″ and “Vol. 2.”

Blue Screen of Death Survival Guide: Every Error Explained
Posted on Monday 11 May 2009 - 00:16:47 by ghozt
Picture this: It’s late at night, you’re sitting at your computer playing a game or working on a project when, suddenly, Windows freezes completely. All your work is gone, and you find a blue screen full of gibberish staring back at you. Windows is dead, Jim, at least until you reboot it. You have no choice but to sigh loudly, shake your fist at Bill Gates and angrily push the reset button. You’ve just been visited by the ghost of windows crashed: The blue screen of death.

Also known as the BSoD, the Blue Screen of Death appears when Windows crashes or locks up. It’s actually a Windows “stop” screen, and is designed to do two things: tell you the reason for the error, and to calm your nerves, hence the use of the color blue (studies show it has a relaxing effect on people). Though Blue Screens are difficult to decipher, all the information you need to figure out what caused it is right there in front of you in blue and white—and that’s where we come in. We’re going to show you how to dissect the blue screen error details, so you can fix the problem that’s causing them.

Duke Nukem Forever Developer Sinks Amidst Sea of Questions
Posted on Monday 11 May 2009 - 00:02:38 by ghozt

Original Post @ MAXIMUMPC.COM
Remember kids, sloth is one of humanity’s greatest vices. Practice it for too long – like, say, 12 years or so – and you might even incur some form of consequences. Today, said scythe finally fell atop Duke Nukem Forever developer 3D Realms, ending its storied run once and for all.

3D Realms webmaster Joe Siegler supplied the developer’s final gasp, simply saying, “It's not a marketing thing. It's true. I have nothing further to say at this time.”

However, Duke might not be down for the count just yet. Duke Nukem Forever publisher Take-Two issued a statement concerning the closure.

Want to get shot in game? Now you can!
Posted on Thursday 26 March 2009 - 11:02:00 by ghozt
Are you a gamer that often complains about the unrealistic aspects of FPS shooters? Maybe you crave a little more danger and intensity in your online play? If you ever wanted a truly authentic real-world simulation of an online battlefield, this is it. That's right, the TN Games 3rd Space Gaming Vest acts as both a highly fashionable piece of attire and a ultra-realistic simulation of what it's like to take a direct gunshot to the chest. Whiners...prepare to cry like a little girl.

That's right, this is the real deal. This TN Games 3rd Space Gaming Vest (Small / Medium) contains eight active zones that simulate the precise direction and brute force of online bullet fire and bone-rattling explosions as they occur in-game. Thanks to the alignment of the pneumatic actuators positioned inside the vest, where you get shot in the game will be the same spot you feel an intense pulse on your body. To sweeten the deal, the FPS Vest is bundled with two games (including one of the best FPS shooters ever made - Call Of Dutyâ„¢ 2). Both included PC games showcase the dynamic experience of the FPS Vest.

Now, we should probably add a disclaimer here stating that the vest is perfectly safe and won't cause any bodily harm...but c'mon, that would just ruin the fun, wouldn't it?

Gaming Vest Also Available in Large / X-Large.

System Includes:

* FPS Gaming Vest
* Air Compressor
* USB Cable
* Power Supply
* 3rd Spaceâ„¢ Incursion - PC Game
* Call Of Dutyâ„¢ 2 - PC Game.

Dam Those Hackers!
Posted on Saturday 21 March 2009 - 22:40:55 by FSK405|Fear
Just when you think your safe from hackers or the government, some genius designs a gadget that you would see on a 007 movie.

Andrea Barisani and Daniele Bianco have made a device that can record keystrokes from up to a 100feet away. This device only costs $80. Crap!

They discovered every single keystroke has a unique vibration and the $80 device is able to record that using a laser beam and a light diode.

Just Great!
